5 things you should know before going on the morning walk

1. Morning walks are free

This tip is easily something you could tell people, and that’s because the fees to take a morning walk in London parks are free! For instance, with one of your friends, you could find that the three hours in Hyde Park for two were free! No worries; the parks in London are very affordable, if you find that you are living quite close to a park, you could take a day out of your daily commute to do a day walk.

2. It’s necessary to keep your feet warm

Don’t just pop out for a day's walk when you’re at home! Our flats are good enough for keeping warm, but how long is your morning walk going to last? Your legs will get very cold very quickly without the little bits of moisturizer you need!

Hitting the books anytime before morning walks aren’t great for either of you. If you don’t want to miss your mornings walk, it’s best to try to get out for a fresh morning walk either first thing in the morning or before breakfast. Don’t leave home unprepared! Your walks will kill your mood just for sitting still in bed watching your favorite Netflix show.

3. You’ll need a bit of careful planning

I recommend taking your morning walk on a clear day. This way you are seeing where you are going and have more time to really take in the sights you will be seeing. By taking a morning walk at night, you’ll miss out on a lot of the landscape. Also, the roads are most treacherous. We all have different views of the different sights, but I have a different opinion from most of my friends, mainly because they live in flats.

The main reason for this is because the view is often obscured behind the darker, concrete walls that you can’t see well from your flats. You cannot even see what the trees are up close! This means you will need more care and attention to your senses. Also, lots of people stop here to take a better look at other people walking or even photograph the surrounding scenery.

4. Don’t be surprised if you find a cheeky merrier dog or two

I don’t think it’s just us the lasses walking on our own. What you might not realize is that these days dog owners don’t just go to their local park. The dog who doesn’t take enough care will also steal something from someone else! If you have a small dog, then you should make sure you have a good strong bond with them, you don’t want one more rollover. If you’re hiking, then my advice is to make sure you have lots of padding so you have the option of moving over if you are heading out for a day walk and an uncontrollable dog decides to come running at you!

5. There will probably be some stops along the way

They say sometimes you can’t do everything, so what will be interesting is seeing where the morning walk takes you, you will be getting out of your tracks, and seeing what your favorite park is like from afar. One of the most prevalent scenery changes is how the park looks at night. If you’re on the way to see a bit of nature, then you should check out the park closer to nightfall, you may see something that you’ve never seen before!
